In 1905 a commencement was made to construct a railway between Peshawar Jalalabad,which was to be strated from Kacha Garhi Between peshawar-Jamrud to fallow the Kabul and Loi Shilman Valley.32km track was laid,which was pulled up in 1909,due to financial reasons and settlement between Brtish raj and Russia.The tunnels and the formation for 15km up rhe kabul river gorge still there is to mark….A BROKEN RAIL END..
