Walking the North Downs Way from Otford to Cuxton in Kent. A long stretch, but finally escaping motorway noise (mostly). A diversion to the interesting little Rising Sun pub just off the route at Cotman’s Ash Lane, woods, a diversion into Wrotham with a church and a memorial, bluebells, trees trees trees.
The section of the North Downs Way from Oxted in Surrey to Otford in Kent. Some deer, a nice church, a pub, trees, bluebells, a long-distance view towards London, Chevening, unexpected sculpture… and motorway noise.
North Downs Way from Merstham to Oxted. Unfortuntately dominated by traffic noise from the motorway, although at least there is apub on the route.
North Downs Way second leg, from Guildford to Westhumble. More scenic than the first leg, with St Martha’s Church and some wartime pillboxes.
The first leg of the North Downs Way long distance footpath. A bit suburban in parts: golf courses, CCTV, roads.
