Not sure if anyone else has commented regarding the small building near the Abbots Cliff sound mirror, I believe it to be a spiggot mortar emplacement, there are other noted extant and otherwise along that stretch of coast. I was there this morning and the ‘spiggot’ has been stolen/taken/removed now.
