Bereits in der ersten H\u00e4lfte des vergangenen Jahrhunderts arbeiteten deutsche Ingenieure in Afghanistan, lernten Afghanen an der Amani-Schule in Kabul Deutsch. Der <a href=\"\/afghanistan\/railways\/king-amanullahs-travels\/\">Besuch von K\u00f6nig Amanullah 1928 in Berlin<\/a> wurde von den Deutschen mit gro\u00dfer Begeisterung aufgenommen. Noch heute nennen die Berliner den U-Bahn-Zug, mit dem er damals durch Berlin fuhr \u201eAmanullah\u201c. Er war bis 1989 in Betrieb und Sie k\u00f6nnen das letzte Exemplar bei Ihrem n\u00e4chsten Besuch in Berlin im Museum bewundern.
